A few weeks ago, the KO Welding Tables® team hit the road and set up shop at the Australian Manufacturing Week (AMW) Expo in Melbourne — and we’ve got to say, what a brilliant experience it was.
It was our very first expo, and truth be told, we weren’t sure what to expect. But by the end of the week, one thing was crystal clear: the KO Welding Tables® community is stronger and more passionate than ever.
Putting Faces to Names
One of the biggest highlights? Meeting so many of our customers in person.
If you’ve ever messaged us about a new table or called in to chat about accessories — chances are we spoke at the expo. It was a real pleasure to finally put some faces to the names we see on orders and emails.
We also met heaps of future customers — welders, fabricators, and business owners who had heard of KO Welding Tables® but hadn’t yet seen our tables up close. Safe to say, they were impressed.
Standing Out from the Crowd
Let’s be honest — at a show packed wall-to-wall with metalworking gear, not every welding table is built equal.
Time and time again, visitors told us that the fit, finish and functionality of our KO Welding Tables® stood out from the rest. Whether it was the precision of our 50mm grid system, the rock-solid flatness of our tabletops, or the premium feel of our accessories — people noticed the difference.
There’s something satisfying about watching someone run their hand across the surface of our table, then look up and go:
“Bloody hell — this is next level!”
Unveiling the New 50mm Grid and Redesigned Tables
The AMW Expo also gave us the perfect stage to debut some exciting new developments.
We brought along our brand new 50mm grid tables, which are designed for next-level accuracy and quicker setups. Paired with our redesigned table structure — made to be even more rigid and customisable — the feedback was outstanding.
These tables are a game changer for anyone chasing speed and precision in their fabrication work.
Sneak Peek: New Accessories Are Coming
We also had a few prototype accessories on display — and let’s just say, they caused a bit of a stir.
From new clamping options, pins to even more versatile stops and fixtures, the buzz around our upcoming releases was massive. While they’re not available just yet, keep an eye out — they’ll be hitting the website soon.

Born and raised in Ocean Grove, Victoria, I’ve always loved working with my hands. During High School, welding became my passion. For over a decade, I’ve been at the heart of the welding industry, mastering techniques from structural steel to custom fabrication. My expertise led to the creation of “KO Welding Supplies” in 2018, a trusted supplier for welders and fabricators across Australia and New Zealand.
Recognising the need for a superior welding table, in 2021 I innovatively tested and launched the KO Welding table. Its precision and adaptability surpassed anything I’d used before. Drawing from extensive feedback, we realised one-size-fits-all wouldn’t work. Thus, koweldingtables.com.au was born, offering customisable, top-quality welding tables with transparent pricing.
